Silwet Gold is an adjuvant in the category of organosilicon called "super-spreaders", which can improve the absorption in the stomata by reducing the active tension of aqueous solutions. As a result, the solution in which Silwet Gold has been added penetrates much easier and faster inside the green parts of the plants, ultimately leading to a better effect of the products in the mixture. Silwet Gold ensures a particularly fast penetration into the leaves of any partner from the mixture significantly improving its effect.
Treated plants: Alfalfa, Appletree, Apricot tree, Beet sugar, Cabbages, Carnations, Cauliflower, Cherry tree, Chrysanthemums, Corn, Cucumber, Decorative shrubs, Eggplant, Garlic, Grass, Hydrangea, Melons, Onion, Peachtree, Peartree, Pepper, Plumtree, Potato, Quince tree, Roses, Sour cherries, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Vineyard, Walnut tree, Wheat
How to use it:
Silwet Gold is recommended to be applied in concentrations between 0.01 and 0.15% depending on the cultures, the volume of solution used, and the partners in the mixture.
- For field crops: the usual dose is 0.1 l / ha in 100-200 l water, and a concentration of 0.15% is used for mixtures with systemic products or total non-selective herbicides.
- For mixtures with contact products: it is recommended to use in concentrations between 0.01% and 0.1% depending on the culture.
Increasing the dose of Silwet Gold or increasing the volume of water does not improve the coverage but on the contrary, can cause the solution to leak from the leaves.
The mixture of several pesticides and foliar fertilizers added with Silwet Gold adjuvant can cause phytotoxic burns, so always check the compatibility of the products and perform a phytotoxicity test.
