Titus 25 DF is a systemic herbicide for combating annual and perennial gramineae and most of the broad-leaved weeds with corn, potato and tomato treatment.
Treated plants: Potato, Corn, Tomatoes
Combat weeds: Annual monocotyledonous weeds, Perennial monocotyledonous weeds, Sorghum halepense
It is absorbed through the leaves and translocated into the growth tissues of the plant where it inhibits cell division. Growth in sensitive weeds is stopped within a few hours after application. The visible signs of efficacy occur after several days, and the death of the weeds occurs after 2-3 weeks. Smaller weeds and those at a more advanced stage of growth stop growing and no longer compete with the culture plant for water and nutrients. Under heat and humidity, the activity of the herbicide is faster, while low temperature and drought conditions delay the effect. Titus has a reduced persistence in the soil.
Mode of action and use: Titus 25 DF effectively combats annual and perennial grains and a wide range of dicots. It is applied post-emergence to corn in the 2-7 leaf stage. In potato and tomato, it has the best efficacy on young growing weeds. Rain resistance after 3 hours from the apiary. The effectiveness of the product may be diminished if the rain occurs less than 3 hours after treatment.
Recommended dose: 40-60 g / ha post-emergence for the control of annual and perennial monocotyledonous weeds including Sorghum halepense from seeds and rhizomes and some dicotyledons.
