Sekator Progress OD, 1 litre is a systemic sulfonylurea herbicide that is used to control both annual and perennial dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds in barley, spring barley, and wheat. The product has quick foliar action within 2 hours and it is translocated systemically throughout the plant.
Benefits:
- Controls annual and perennial dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds;
- Systemic translocation properties;
- Effective at low temperatures;
- Rainfast within 2 hours;
- Odour: aromatic;
- Colour: light brown.
- Low application doses.
Action mode:
Sekator Progress OD is a weed herbicide for the protection of cereal crops, except oats:
- Once applied, the product is absorbed through the foliage and is quickly translocated to all the organs of the plants, providing systemic action;
- The oil dispersion formulation allows for enhanced adhesion and penetration properties and makes the product rainfast within 2 hours after application;
- Low temperatures following or before application do not reduce the properties of the herbicide (4-5°C).
Methods of application:
The recommended dose is 100 to 150 ml per ha.
The higher dose is intended for high-level infestations and hard to control weeds.
The volume of solution is 200 to 400 l per ha for the terrestrial treatment and 80 to 150 l per ha for aerial treatments.
Treatments are carried out in spring, during post-emergence, when weeds are in the 2-3 leaf stage.
The optimal application time is between the beginning and end of the twinning phase, but applications can be done until the appearance of the standard leaves(no phytotoxic effects).
Crop | Weeds attacked | Application moment | Dose |
Wheat | Wind grass (twin wheat formation of the first internode, wind grass at 2-4 leaves before twinning) | Postemergence | 0.15 l/ha |
Annual and perennial dicotyledons (twin wheat, weeds 2-4 leaves, Corn Thistle max. 10 cm high) | Postemergence | 0.1-0.15 l/ha | |
Barley | Annual and perennial dicotyledons (barley at twinning, weeds 2-4 leaves, Corn Thistle less than 10 cm high) | Postemergence | 0.1-0.15 l/ha |
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
- Use 150 ml/ha dose for powerful infestations as well as against weeds that are difficult to fight;
- The optimum interval is between the beginning and the end of the twinning, but the Sekator can be applied until the appearance of the banana leaf without phytotoxic effects on the crop;
- Do not use Progress OD Sekator to oat crop (not selective for oats).
