Product information

Challenge 600 SC, 250 ml is a treatment for weed control that can be applied both in pre-emergence and post-emergence. It delivers quality herbicidal control against annual dicotyledonous weeds and annual monocotyledonous weeds and can be applied to a large variety of crops.

Benefits:
- Contact herbicide;
- Wide range of applications for different types of crops;
- Powerful active substance;
- Quick-acting effects for reliable crop protection;
- Controls annual monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds.

Action mode:
Challenge 600 SC controls annual weeds in many varieties of crops:
- Challenge 600 SC is a pre-emergent contact herbicide with limited translocation properties, that uses the active agent aclonifen;
- The herbicidal effect leads to the chlorosis of plant tissues,
-The active substance does not prevent germination but controls weeds that have already germinated.

Methods of application:
The volume of solution required is based on the equipment that is used for the treatment.
The number of treatments for all types of the crop: 1 treatment per year per crop.
Water volume for all crops: 200-400 l per ha.
Consult the label for dosage instructions, depending on the type of crop that is being treated.

Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.

Recommendations:
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not apply treatments during hot, sunny days.
Applications should be made in the morning after the dew has dried, or in the evenings.
Do not apply treatments if negative temperatures are expected at night.
Avoid spray drift onto other crops.
Do not apply when wind speed exceeds 5 m / s.

For sandy soils or when heavy rains are announced after sowing(onion bulbs, shallots, and onion for seeds) it is recommended to apply Challenge 600 SC in postemergence, in 2 stages:
- the first treatment with 1 l per ha, break time 10 days;
- the second treatment with 1.5 l per ha, no later than BBCH 12–14 (2 maximum 4 true leaves).
