Altosid Pro-G is a granular insecticide that works against mosquitoes by killing them in their early stages of life. These insects are known as virus spreaders and can become dangerous if they get out of control. Due to the IGR active ingredient, Methoprene, the life cycle of mosquitoes is disrupted by preventing them to turn into adults. The Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) acts as a birth control for insects by affecting their reproductive organs.
