Product information

Hokoex is a larvicide (low toxicity) for control of nuisance flies and waste disposal sites. The granular formulation contains 2 % cyromazine.

Cyromazine, the active ingredient, is an insect growth regulator belonging to the group of triazine derivatives. Cyromazine interferes with the chitin metabolism of the insect. Treated larvae will not molt to the next stage and thus the cycle of the fly will be interrupted. The molecule also shows a high specificity for fly larvae.

HokoEx can be used in:

- Poultry farms;
- Farms for the raising and fattening of pigs;
- Dairy cows and calves;
- Sheep and goat shelters;
- Stallocks;
- Intensive rabbit farms;
- Zoo;
- Landfill and garbage containers.

 It can be applied in 3 different ways:

- Dispersion;
- Spraying; 
- Casting with a sprinkler.
