QuickBayt 2Extra WG10 is an insecticidal bait for the control of domestic house flies (Musca domestica), used only in animal units, agricultural buildings, interior structural surfaces of buildings storing household waste or green household waste.

QuickBayt will reduce fly numbers within 24 hours. 

Directions:

-For use only in animal units or agricultural buildings (e.g. broiler houses, livestock barns, dairy parlours, caged layer houses and small animal husbandry e.g. kennels etc.) or interior structural surfaces of buildings storing household waste or green household waste.

-Best results will be obtained when small amounts of the paste bait are applied in many locations, concentrating around the preferred resting sites of flies. Avoid the treatment of extremely dusty areas.

-If the product is covered with dust, clean up and reapply. Do not apply to areas subject to washing/sluicing. Paint bait in areas inaccessible to food producing animals, children and pets, and where foodstuffs will not become contaminated.

-This product may not be used in premises where there is bare soil and no hard standing.

-To prepare a paste for painting, mix 200 g of bait with up to 150 ml of warm water and stir thoroughly. This provides sufficient paste to treat 1 m2, for every 100 m2 of floor area treat 1 m2 of wall area (depending upon porosity of the surface).

-Fifteen (15) minutes after mixing, the paste can be applied with a brush or roller directly to internal structural surfaces e.g. walls, joists, window ledges and other surfaces that are secure on the fabric of the building.

-After use the brush / roller should be cleaned with warm water, which should then be disposed of safely. QuickBayt can provide long lasting house fly control in rural hygiene situations. However, this is likely to be best achieved if the treatment is complemented by good hygiene practice.

-The minimum retreatment period is 6 weeks. If further treatment is required during the 6 week period, a product with a different mode of action should be used. QuickBayt should not be used more than 6 times in any 12 month period.

-This product should not be used continuously against houseflies in intensive or controlled environment animal houses as this could cause failure due to insecticide resistance. If sequential treatments are required, use a product with a different active ingredient and, if necessary, a different control method (such as space sprays).
