Coragen 20 SC is a Rynaxypyr® range of unique anthranilate molecules with a wide spectrum of pest control. This new insecticide has a different mode of action than other known insecticides and a strong effect on target species by contact and ingestion at a low dose per hectare.
Directions for use and use:
Coragen 20 SC offers excellent crop protection, acts fast on eggs, larvae, and adults, the pests feed us after ingestion or contact with Coragen 20 SC.
- Efficient and long-lasting (14-21 days).
- Resistant to washing - rain dropped after 2 hours after treatment does not diminish product efficacy
- Toxicological and ecotoxicologically favorable profile, safe for humans and the environment.
- Recommended for use in integrated pest management programs (IPM)
- Management and Insecticide Resistance Management (IRM) programs.
- Compatible with most plant protection products.
Coragen® is a local and systematic insecticide that activates ryanodine receptors, stimulating the release of Ca ++ ions from the internal deposits of smooth and striated insect muscles, causing muscle paralysis, impaired control of movements, general lethargy, and ultimately death pests. It acts by ingestion and cuticular absorption. Inhibition of insect feeding occurs rapidly, from a few minutes to a few hours after ingestion. The pest affected by the product becomes immobile and disoriented, which causes its fall from the leaves, characteristic of the excellent protection of the culture.
Overall larvicidal activity is determined by the absorption of Coragen® product through the corium and, subsequently, by oral administration, the neonate larva ingesting the chorion at the time of hatching. At this stage, the larvae ingest a sufficient dose of the product so that it stops feeding quickly and dies before hatching.
Laryngeal death occurs within 24-60 hours after initial ingestion/absorption. With its specific mode of action, Coragen® protects the crop for a range of 21 days depending on the application time.
