Hyperox superior stabilized formulation provides greater application flexibility and broad-spectrum activity with efficacy against viruses, bacteria, fungi, and spores at low temperatures and in the face of organic challenge. These unique qualities make Hypero the Peracetic acid disinfectant of choice for general surface, equipment, water delivery system, and thermal fogging disinfection.
Mode of action:
Hyperox does not elicit a specific toxicological effect on the target organism, instead, it achieves deactivation and/or destruction of the target organism through general oxidative disruption of key structures and compounds vital to normal activity (e.g. proteins and lipids).
Properties:
- Powerful broad-spectrum activity;
- Unique, stabilized peracetic formulation;
- Exceptional effectiveness at low temperatures;
- Highly effective in the presence of an organic challenge;
- Biodegrades readily within the environment;
- Colorless, aqueous solution;
- Non-tainting.
Direction for use:
Hyperox has a unique formula, a wide spectrum of activity, and superior stability, features that recommend it as a disinfectant based on peracetic acid, and the first choice for: surfaces, equipment, water supply systems, and thermal nebulization.
Water Systems:
All water systems show a degree of bacterial contamination, especially header tanks where dust and other debris can accumulate.
Sanitizing will clean the system and stop the growth of bacteria and fungi.
Thermal fogging disinfection:
Hyperox was independently approved according to the French AFSSA for thermal fogging disinfection use.
Dosage and application:
Disinfection task | Dilution | Application |
General surfaces | 1% | Using a pressure washer on a low-pressure setting, apply the disinfectant solution to surfaces at a rate of 300mls per square meter |
Movable equipment | 1% | Wash until visibly clean, leave for 10 minutes before rinsing with clean water and allowing to dry. |
Pruning knives | 1% | Disinfect pruning knives at the end of each row of plants by either dipping in (not soaking), or wiping with a cloth or sponge soaked in disinfectant solution |
Seed trays, plant pots, and containers | 1% | Submerge pre-cleaned containers in disinfectant solution for a minimum of 1 minute before removing and allowing to dry prior ro re-use |
Disinfectant foot dips and vehicle wheel washes | 1% | Replenish every 2-3 days, or when heavily soiled |
Irrigation system | 1% | Fill irrigation lines with a disinfectant solution. Leave for one hour and then flush through with fresh clean water |
Thermal fogging | 10% | 1.7 liter of the disinfectant solution to every 100m3 of greenhouse airspace |
