Way of usage & Placement:
- Set the switch to the “OFF” position and insert 4 C batteries into the battery compartment. Batteries not included!
- Apply the bait in the special compartment. Use a protein-rich bait, such as peanut butter, peanut butter or chocolate, taking care to apply only on the indicated bait cup. Don't use too much. Rodents have a developed sense of smell, requiring only a small amount of bait to trap them. Use a cotton swab, toothpick, tweezers or similar tool to place the bait so that the odour is not transferred to the trap.
- Activate the trap. A green light will flash when the trap is working properly. The LED will light up with each capture and will flash for up to 7 days to indicate the removal of intruders. The red light indicates a short battery life. Replace the batteries. Using old batteries can make the trap not work. Use a new set of fully charged batteries and check that the positive and negative ends of the batteries are oriented correctly.
- Place the trap in the areas heavily circulated by rodents or along the wall where they circulate. The trap should be placed longitudinally on the wall, with the inlet hole close to the wall.
- To remove the catches, set the switch to the “OFF” position, open the trap with its base in your left hand and slide up with your right hand (fig. 5).
- Clean the trap after each use for effective results. Remove the batteries and clean the trap using a soft brush and warm soapy water. Allow the trap to dry completely before reuse.
- Reassemble the trap. Hold the base of the trap with your left hand and slide it into position by pushing it forward with your right hand.

Other tips & recommendations:
- Simply place the bait in the special compartment, place the trap in the areas where you noticed the activity of the rodents and activate it.
- With a single set of 4 C batteries, the Victor Electronic M241 trap is capable of eliminating up to 50 rats in a matter of seconds, producing 6,000 volts of electricity for each catch.
- The trap is equipped with an advanced technology, having an intelligent circuit that detects the presence of the rodent and triggers a high voltage electric current, as soon as it passes on the electrified board.
- Rats have the ability to restart their hearts after an electric shock. For thus reason the Victor Electronic M241 applies electric shocks for 2 minutes to ensure higher rodent removal rates.
- After every capture, the light above the power switch will turn green and will flash for up to 7 days to indicate the removal of intruders.
- When the trap is full, slide the collection enclosure and remove the rodents. - The collection chamber is detachable so that it can be easily cleaned between uses. The new and improved design of the electronic trap allows them to be easily removed, without having to see or touch the rodents.
- The trap does not use chemicals and can be used anywhere inside the home.
- Victor Electronic M241 has a safety switch that automatically deactivates the trap whenever the camera door for the bait is opened.
