New Standard Miniature Incandescent Light - Model 1012 is a professional trap with superior results against mosquitoes due to the intense light and the strong air current it produces. The internal switch (PhotoSwitch) is the newest functionality on the market, which is responsible for driving 100% of the battery voltage to the light and the trap motor. That is why incandescent light bulbs provide a constant white light.

Way of usage & Placement:
This trap has 3 modules that can be set:
- Module 1 (both the light and the engine run at sunset and close at sunrise).
- Module 2 (both the light and the engine run at sunset, the light shuts off at sunrise, but the engine stays on at sunrise).
- Module 3 (both the light and the engine run independently of the time of day, and the trap is connected).

Other tips & recommendations:
Requirements:
- The trap draw is 0.5 Amps/hour at 6 volts.
- A Sealed, Gelled-Electrolyte Battery, 6 volt, 12 Amp Hours (PN: 2.30),
- Or a Four D-cell External Battery Holder (PN: 1.50) with alkaline D-cells,
- Or a Constant Voltage Power Supply (CVPS) (PN: 8.07) that will allow the trap to operate on any voltage between 4 and 24 VDC. Using this in concert with alkaline D-cells enables 100% fan and light output while using 95% of the batteries’ capacity. The CPVS would also enable you to use the lightweight and compact Li-ion battery case and batteries (PNs 1.40 & 2.10).
