Product information

Titus 25 DF is a systemic herbicide in the form of water-soluble granules, based on the active substance rimsulfuron. It is used to control annual and perennial grasses and for most broadleaf weeds that sprout at the time of treatment, in corn, potato, tomato crops.

Benefits:
- low persistence in the soil.
- unwanted weeds disappear completely after 2-3 weeks of treatment

Action mode:
- It is absorbed through the leaves and then distributed into the growth tissues of the plant, where it inhibits cell division.
- Growth in sensitive weeds is stopped within a few hours after application. The effectiveness of the product can be observed after several days, but the weeds disappear completely after 2-3 weeks.
- Less sensitive weeds and those in a more advanced stage of development stop growing and no longer compete with the crop plant for water and nutrients.
- In hot and humid conditions the activity of the herbicide is faster while the conditions of low temperature and drought delay its effect.
Titus has a reduced persistence in the soil.

Methods of application:
Titus 25 DF effectively fights annual and perennial grasses and a wide range of dicotyledons. In corn crops, the herbicide is applied in post-emergence treatments when it has reached the 2-7 leaf stage.
In potato and tomato crops, the product has the best efficacy on actively growing young weeds. Or that have a maximum height of 15-20 cm.

The recommended dosage is 40-60 g / ha postemergent, for the control of annual and perennial monocotyledonous weeds in the case of corn cultivation.
For potato crops, a dosage of 40-50 g / ha is recommended, and for tomato crops the dosage of 30-60 will be used depending on the degree of infestation.

Compatibility:
Titus can be mixed in the tank with other products approved to control dicotyledons such as dicamba, 2.4 D terbuthylazine or mesotrione. Instead, do not mix it with bromoxynil because it can damage corn, especially in hot weather.

Recommendation:
- It is resistant to rain after 3 hours from application. The effectiveness of the product may be diminished if rain falls less than 3 hours after treatment.
- The optimal time for cultivation is 7-14 days after the application of the herbicide, to allow the absorption of the product in the rhizomes of perennial weeds.
- Severe stress conditions manifested immediately after treatment may lead to poor weed control.
