The TruDetx Bed Bug Rapid Test is designed to collect and analyze potential residues left by bed bugs on typical surfaces where they hide. The tests are conducted on-site, requiring no in-depth preparation for execution due to the simple and easy-to-follow instructions, and results are obtained in just 5 minutes.

Instructions for use:

Step 1: Remove the test from the pouch and place it on a flat surface.

Step 2: Remove the swab from the packaging and use the soft tip to collect residues from surfaces where bed bugs may hide.

Step 3: Remove the seal from the solvent container with the dropper. Shake/immerse the swab in the solvent liquid for 15 seconds. Squeeze the liquid from the tip of the swab as you remove it from the tube.

Step 4: Use the dropper to apply 3-4 drops of solvent liquid into the test hole. Wait for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, test lines will appear to indicate the results:

• One line at the C (Control) means the test is valid, but no residues were found.
• Two lines, one at C and one at T (Test), mean the test is positive and bed bug residues were found. Even a faint line at T means residues were found.
• If no lines appear or only a line at T appears, the test is invalid.

The results of the test are valid for 15 minutes.
