Product information

Rodenticide Racumin Foam is a professional product designed to be used as an anticoagulant contact rodenticide for indoor use against rats and house mice (Mus musculus) in holes and covered tracks, wall cavities and places inaccessible to livestock, children, and non-target species. When contact is made the foam sticks to the rodent’s coat and the rodenticide is ingested during grooming. Racumin Foam is used primarily as a supporting measure during normal bait application when there are conditions of high air humidity, attractive alternative feed sources, or with bait rejection/shyness.

Active Substance:
- Coumatetralyl: 40 g / kg;
- Coumatetralyl: 1st generation anticoagulant which is rapidly metabolized and excreted resulting in minimal residues retained by the rat;
- Coumatetralyl interacts with vitamin K1 and inhibits blood coagulation. Poisoning symptoms may include: bruising easily, nose or gum bleeds, blood in stools or urine, excessive bleeding from minor cuts. Note that poisoning symptoms may develop over the course of several days.

Product Benefits:
- Fast highly effective rodent control;
- Low risk of secondary poisoning;
- Superior bait acceptance.

Product Characteristics:
- The released foam usually lasts for 7-12 days, depending on disturbance and temperature/humidity;
- 1st generation anticoagulants will respond to treatment faster and have a greater likelihood of a positive outcome than the 2nd generation anticoagulant.

Recommendations issued by the manufacturer:
- Perform a thorough survey of the infested in order to determine the extent of the infestation;
- Foam must NOT be used as a tracking product;
- Apply at least 2 m from storage locations for food and animal feeding stuff;
- Attach the dispensing tube and press button to release foam;
For Rats:
- Apply 20 g to 30 g foam (a foam the size of a half-brick);
For Mice:
- Apply 4 g (a foam the size of a tennis ball) to 30 g;
- This quantity can be applied as a single application or as a number of small applications along the track;
- To enable the rodents to continue using their entrance points/holes do not totally seal off with the foam - keep the opening clearly visible;
- Per burrow/track:
