The superior catch results of this product are the result of the 100% light output and maximum airflow. The New Standard Miniature Incandescent Light - Model 1012 features an internal programmable photoswitch that can control any combination of motor and/or light, on and off, at dusk and dawn. 

Main features:

- Maximal Light Output: The New Standard Miniature Incandescent Light - Model 1012 discharges 75% more light than any other similar trap. This is the result of the ABS formed rainshield and the clear acrylic body as these reflect the light and transmit it downwards, or straight out. The PhotoSwitch is the newest feature on the market that is responsible for delivering 100% of the battery to the light and motor. This is how the incandescent bulb will emit a constant white and bright light. 

- Maximal Air Flow: The PhotoSwitch is responsible for delivering 100% battery voltage. This means that the motor's RPM are around 20% greater than any other miniature light traps. The low silhouette grill of this product is also beneficial as it increases the air flow substantially. 

- Easy to Use: This trap is easily programmable, without having to worry about using a magnifying glass or twizers. When replacing the motor you only need to use a screwdriver. 

- Internal Programmable PhotoSwitch: This feature helps you control any combination of motor and/or light, on and off, at dusk and dawn. It has 3 modes to choose from: Mode 1 (both motor and light are on at dusk and off at dawn), Mode 2 (both motor and light are on at dusk, the light if off at dawn, but the motor stays on) and Mode 3 (both motor and light and independent of the light level and the trap runs are connected).

What else is required?
-The trap draw is 0.5 Amps/hour at 6 volts.
-A Sealed, Gelled-Electrolyte Battery, 6 volt, 12 Amp Hours (PN: 2.30),
-Or a Four D-cell External Battery Holder (PN: 1.50) with alkaline D-cells,
-Or a Constant Voltage Power Supply (CVPS) (PN: 8.07) that will allow the trap to operate on any voltage between 4 and 24 VDC.  Using this in concert with alkaline D-cells enables 100% fan and light output while using 95% of the batteries’ capacity.  The CPVS would also enable you to use the light weight and compact Li-ion battery case and batteries (PNs 1.40 & 2.10).
