Created to offer post-emergent control, it eliminates established wintergrass weeds in turf, while its selective characteristic protects the non-targeted plants from any damages. Based on Bispyribac-sodium as an active substance, it inhibits the process of producing three key amino acids essential for weeds normal development. Within 3 to 7 days, the growing process stops and intruders turn yellow to brown within 2 weeks. The product works as a contact herbicide being absorbed through foliage from where it spreads throughout the entire system. This means a correspondent spray coverage is essential. The application timing is flexible providing a generous interval during both spring and summer, ideally when daytime temperatures are between 20 to 30 degrees Celsius. Recommendations:
- Apply product during spring and summer, when temperatures are between 20 to 30 degrees Celsius;
- Do not apply if rain is imminent within 12 hours after application;
- Apply product on actively growing weeds;
- For best results make 2 consecutive application 2 to 3 weeks apart;
- For superior control assure a thorough spray coverage;
- Apply at a rate of 1 L/ha;
- Use a minimum of 250 Litre of water per hectare;
- If needed, overseeding can be made 10 days after the treatment;
- After seeding, first application of Nominee can be made after 1 month.
